It’s time to get down, get down, get down Baltimore! We can’t wait for our New Year’s Eve show at the 8×10, which is officially Motown-themed. The ideas are pouring in at practice, and we know you all will be ready to party like it’s 2013 with us! We got Dale and the Z-Dubs from Bethesda, MD opening the night, plus Baltimore’s own DELTAnine to close it out until 5am (or later). This is going to be a night to remember to say the least… costumes encouraged. Call the 8×10 directly to avoid extra fees (410) 625-2000. And the countdown begins….
We’re hitting four new markets this week, and can not wait to hit the road for Norwalk, CT this Wednesday. There’s a new venue in Norwalk called Rhythm. It’s owned by awesome music heads, and the town seems really excited about it. After that, we’re off to Boston, Albany and Providence. Hitting Albany with Timbre Coup, and Providence with Sophistafunk and Funktion! Life is good… hope to see some Northerners flockin’ out in the next few days.
We’re pumped to announce our late summer/fall tour dates: Some highlights include festival slots at Catskill Chill, The Werk Out, Camp Barefoot, Stir Fry Music Revival, A Bear’s Picnic and Pink Moon, along with our return to many of our favorite cities, including Richmond, Harrisonburg, Blacksburg, Morgantown and Virginia Beach. Also very excited to announce a special Halloween show in Baltimore on October 26 – more to come soon!
We’re also currently in the studio working on our next album, so stay tuned for updates regarding that. More dates including stops in New York and Connecticut will be announced in the next few weeks.

Summer is upon us, and we’re already having too much fun. We kicked off our July Wednesday Residency at the 8×10 in Baltimore with a bang on Uncle Sam’s Birthday. Funky good times, can’t wait for next week’s Late Night Luau. Now we’re back on the road heading to Ohio for Grateful Fest, then we’re cruising to West Virginia for Healing Waters Festival on Saturday. Not a bad way to spend a weekend… We’re going to try to update you all much more regularly, so stay tuned for more posts soon. Hopefully it’ll give you a glimpse through the eyes of a traveling Pigeon!
This February, we had an absolute blast hitting new cities and meeting new flockers, young and old! Plus, we got some super funky tracks laid down in the studio for our upcoming album, and our summer schedule is filling out beautifully. But why stop at February? March, it’s on! We’re kicking off March 2012 with an exciting run through Virginia, with our debut in VA Beach, a stop in Richmond, Herndon, then hustling up to Liberty Mountain, PA for an epic Sunday jam-packed with sweet Pigeon-funk and fresh powder (hopefully). Check the “Tour Dates” tab above for more info.
Not to mention, we are unfathomably pumped for our March Residency at the 8×10 in Baltimore. Aptly called March Madness, we’re fully ready to tear it up every Wednesday with four themed nights including sick regional and local acts and special guests that are sure to please. March Madness will be one for the record books, and we can’t wait to see you all there!
