Wiki Wild Wild West – CYA SOON!

The last two shows in Colorado were explosive, complete with funky sit-ins by Joey Porter (Juno What, The Motet) for fully raging crowds in Denver and Boulder. The fifth Pigeon Ronny RedRocks (aka Bobby Buddha) celebrated his birthday running lights at The Gothic Theatre in Denver on Friday, and to top it off, we just had sushi… burritos! Needless to say we’ll be back soon, long live Colorado!!

Hot Springs!!

If you are ever in Steamboat Springs, go to Strawberry Park and enjoy the natural hot springs, no excuses! And if you’re feeling as adventurous as we were this past Sunday, take a quick plunge into the freezing cold river after spending some time in the hot springs. Talk about sensation!! Fully enjoying Colorado, especially after the last few shows that were total dance parties. So grateful to play another week of shows out here. Now, it’s time to stop at Red Rocks for a quick hike, followed by a night off in Denver.

Colorado Sweet Colorado

Ah the mountains, how we’ve missed you!! We kicked off our two-week CO run in style last night with our buddies BIG Something in Durango, and tonight we’re in Telluride with our friends Aqueous. Too great to see Domefest family out here, as if the mountains weren’t enough! 🙂

What a great day off in New Orleans! It was 3/5 of our first time there, so we all ate po’boys at Verdi Mart, caught live music on Frenchman St. and ate beignets at Cafe Du Monde the next morning. Such a vibrant and cultured city, we hope to be back very soon. In the meantime, two weeks in Colorado will do just fine. 🙂

From the incredible music to the unreal campground to the beautiful people, everything about AURA Music Festival was inspiring. Our late night set couldn’t have gone any better (maximum capacity!) and we made the smart decision to spend the whole weekend at the fest. TOO FUN. SUCH GOOD MUSIC. Now our cup is full as we head to Colorado for two weeks, starting this Wednesday in Durango with our buds BIG Something. But first, a secret vacation day in the Southeast… 🙂
